I washed my 14oz unbranded earlier (25 mins soaking in a tub of lukewarm water with detergent after swishing it around for a bit, dumped the inky blue-grey water then 10 mins in fresh cold water), let them hang dry for an hour or two and just now squeezed myself very snugly into them while wet... is this a mistake? felt disgusting getting into them but now quite enjoying the cooling sensation on this unusually hot day.

Did I do a dumb thing or is this actually fine/helpful?

sounds disgusting, putting on wet clothes must be ten times grosser than taking off wet clothes which is already gross

Why wear them while wet if you’re not trying to stretch them out? The knees in particular might stretch out a bit too much giving you baggy knees

>> No.13470573

If they were damp it's not an issue, they might even fit you better. If they were dripping wet though, you might stretch them to the point of making them sag in areas. If that happens give them another hot soak to shrink them back down as much as possible

Not weird I did the same cept I took a shower with mine on then went to sleep with them on, they fit fine now

yes actually you did do the right thing by wearing them wet. i do it after my first soak usually, so the jeans conform perfectly to your body and dont shrink too much in the waist. its uncomy for a few hours, but its well worth it for a perfect fitting pair of jeans.

if they were brand new, you shouldnt have used detergent though. shouldve just used plain cold water but whatever. unbranded quality is terrible by the way
