Just because an article of clothing or shoe is made in a country known for their housing of luxury brands and/or quality craftsmanship does not mean that the piece in question meets those standards.
There are plenty of garbage manufacturers located in these areas to trick retards like you into thinking that "made in Portugal/Italy/United States" is an impressive credential for their ankle boot that has been marked down to less than a third of the original price*. In reality, it is basically a tagline. It is a little thing they add to their company and their products to evoke a certain aesthetic.
*$129.00 is not a lot for ankle boots to begin with. You're pretty much paying for the style of the boot more than the quality of it. You should be spending more on your shoes as you are putting your feet and walking in them. I don't care if you wear Gildan shirts and Walmart jeans but you should definitely pick your shoes more carefully. Feet are very fragile and I don't want you to hurt yours anon.
