I had huge long hair in the past, it had a ton of volume and was super soft. Every day girls would come over to compliment me, elderly people would also cross the road to come and talk to me. No one ever said I look dodgey, just that I look like Jesus or like an angel.

Later I cut it down to an undercut. The gf I have now openly said that she wouldn't have dated me with that haircut.

So I don't think that the haircut itself makes you sketchy, but people certainly treat you differently.
