Yeah, for sure. A general rule is, don't wear oversized anything - big baggy tees, long shorts, chunky high-tops, etc. It'll make you look like a child with an adult's head. If you're really skinny and light, too - and not going for an androgynous look - then put some mass on and work out.
It does depend on just how much of a manlet you are (I mean, this board calls anybody under 6' a manlet) because if you're just 5'9" or something then it's really not an issue. If you're 5'4" or so though you're probably going to need to learn how to tailor your clothes to be fashionable, because things will not be designed to fit your stature.
