Trying to shed some kg so I can fit into my jap' stormrider this year.
Technically I probably could wear it, especially open, but it's a bit tight closed.
I probably should have got a 40 instead of a 38.

When I was like 70-72 kg I bought some aspirational 30w jeans, was wearing 32w at the time.
Then I went up to 75kg for a while, then 80kg for a while, then got up to 88kg twice in a couple of years.
At least 70kg is the goal for me now, but I might get into those fucking 30w jeans, I still have them after all these years.

Haha same weight and pants size goal, never went to 88 though, max 82, I’m now 70, I did go to 67 once but people said it was too much, idk wat to do now, I’m not tall (1.78) but I’m kind of large and muscular but at my height I know people that weight like 60 kg and are not considered unhealthy, I do want to lose more fat but not look like a skeleton, what do?

At your height 60kg is probably borderline underweight, by BMI. You could get some fat calipers and learn to use those. 6-13% is athlete-tier body fat.
Some people will tell a person not to lose weight but what they really mean is "you have no muscle." If you're a big, strong guy I guess just do what you like but don't become objectively unhealthy.

For me this year if shipping times weren't a thing I'd cop a Barbour Beaufort and a new sweater to go under it.
