I don’t normally post on this board but I am wondering if specific type of pants exist.

I recently went on vacation to India and I bought some light weight long pants that were made out of like a linen like material. They are loose fitting and generally feel great in humid climates (where I live also). However they are held up with a draw string similar to sweatpants and this causes issues as I cannot carry my CCW without belt loops and a belt. So my question is do they make pants similar to this but with a button and belt loops? Normal khaki pants are either too heavy or too tight on the legs.

Thanks and sorry for my ignorance of the board culture here.

You're not going to find nice linen at that price point but Uniqlo is a good option then. It's a bit scratchy but a few wears and washes helps it soften up a little.
Look out for Jcrew on sale too.

what job could you possibly be doing where you'd be wearing those pants and also be in a somewhat unsafe environment?

Do you work in a bad neighborhood?
Do you work around fucking bears?
Do you work around terrorists?

I really can't think of any logical scenario where you'd be wearing flowy indiaman pants and also need to pull out a .45 in case you're in trouble.
