Been using the fjallraven raven 20l for a good two months. Pretty neat bag and even though its small, its great at holding my few folders and shit for school. I saw a pic here once of someone ripping off the logo and it looked much cleaner but im too much of a pussy to do it.

Thinking of getting a Herschel bag (the black pop quiz) for occasions like dates and stuff.

My EDC is a 12.9” iPad Pro, an Apple Pencil, and a few very minor accessories (regular pencil, USB battery, a couple cables, etc). I am having an absolute motherfucker of a time finding a bag that’s minimalist to that extent that isn’t trash. Everything seems to be 15”, or have shitty straps, or some other dealbreaker.

Any recommendations for that kind of use case?

I've got this one, Mountain Pack I think it's called although they've updated it to be a bit different now. It's definitely held up well over 1.5 years. I've used it a lot and not been very kind to it.

Looked on the website now and it seems like they've started making a lot of stuff in Vietnam so you should double check if that matters to you. This one was made in the US but newer ones say Vietnam.

(also it looks a bit lumpy because I just shoved a cushion in it for this picture, website gives a better idea of what it looks like)

Honestly, this is all you'll ever need. Old school Eastpak/Jansport is perfectly sized, has all the pockets you need + is near indestructible.

I've had my standard Eastpak for 8 years now. Washed it countless times. Everything from the zippers to the canvas to the straps is like day one. Only the inner lining is a bit flayed.
