It's not so much a hair problem. Asian hair is thick and straight. They also have more individual hairs. But this is not the problem.

You don't need product. Wash you hair and blowdry it while leaning you head back, so hair also fall back. Try to part it with hands. I don't even use haircomb.

It took me around 3 weeks for my hair to adjust to this fit. Because i always sweeped it to the side. It will take some time, do not jump to conslusions before atleast 3 weeks.

Also it may look bad initially if your hair is too short. My was too short before i got actual cut, and i did not looked that hot, but i dryed it in this style anyway because i knew i gona get the cut.
