Tbh it sounds like you're using fashion as an attempt to bandaid your mental health problems, which is a terrible idea. Fashion is all about self expression. Too many awkward nerds think of it as a uniform you wear that magically increases your sex appeal or makes you cooler so that more people will like you. Hey I was hoping this thread would die quickly but I guess not.

To clarify, I didn't ghost an intimate parter, I met a girl at a show and after exchanging a couple texts over a week we stopped. She texted me like two months ago "hey dude are you okay?" after a long interval and I was too nervous to respond because I wasn't sure if I wanted to be close friends with her. I saw her again at a show tonight, and I didn't talk to her because I wasn't 100% sure if it was her or if she even remembered me. Anyway after it was over I went outside to smoke and talk to a few pals, but she was also there with them and she was like;
"Hey! Why didn't you text me back?!"
to which I responded "Oh, fuck...I'm so sorry, I..." Etc. "I'm afraid of people..." Etc.

So I basically made a fool of myself in front of my friends, then I got into an Uber soon after and could barely even say goodbye properly because I felt so bad and ashamed. Then I get on the train and ride home for an hour feeling bad and shitposting. Finally I get off at my stop, and as I'm leaving the train, just before the doors close this aboriginal dude shouts at me "fuckin' facist goof!"

So after that I rode my bike to the liquor store and got some cider and a tallboy of Stiegl, went to the corner store and some instant ramen, microwaved it, then took it to the alley behind the corner store and took fit pics while I hit my head against a wall and shitposted. That's how I got here.
