I have a fetish for shaving and shaved pubes but I find too that partners have mixed feelings about it but I do it for myself. I don't want to have a full bush and trimming pubes to a certain length seems like too much hassle.

there are better terms out there, no need to use manscape. groom, trim, and shave are all fine. manscape is one of a dozen terms invented in the last 15 years for men to protect their identity as they are do something women do too, which is forbidden i guess. use the electric trimmer to trim pube region and use length attachments to trim thighs and upper leg so the length blends. shave balls though, you want those things as smooth as eggs

I have a similar electric razor like this I use only for my pubes and armpit hair. I use it with the plastic thing on so that the hair is like 3mm long. Then I use a regular razor on my thighs and balls and trim the borders of where my pubes grow and usually make the area just a little bit smaller. I think its the best way to go.
The pube electric razor costed like 15 bucks and it does its job for like 3 years now

You have hair growing in places where skin rubs to decrease friction.
Also no matter how good you shave, you'll get your skin irritated and get microscopic cuts.
Plus the newly sprouting hair is scratchy and promotes irritations during sex even more.
There's tons of studies showing shaving increases risk of catching STDs/STIs, you can easily look this up.

Shaving your pubes is just a stupid thing to do.
Best thing you can do is take a scissor and just shorten the hair.

Several people have said it already but basically shave balls and shaft then trim the pubis and surrounding area to your desired length with clippers or scissors. I literally use a beard trimmer.

How often should I shave or trim my pubes or underarms?
I don't think I'll ever go completely hairless.
Just take a razor in the shower and try to get it down the drain or wipe up what doesn't go down after? Set up towels to catch what falls beforehand and go nuts? Do it over the toilet?
