I guess these Dries boots, grabbed them off Porter sale for a good price. Surprisingly haven't seen these on the market at all, grailed only has a few pairs but the leather has a different texture (smooth leather looks better imo). So if I ever want to sell these, I'm fairly sure I can get atleast the price I paid back.

Quality is insane, super chunky as the heel is 40mm. Shaft is very slim though, hugs my feet so it's a great combination of sleek & chunky. Zipper is kinda memey, but once that trend slows down a bit, I think these will look even better.

I love the details. They reworked the cushion near the heel cup so it's not clunky. Also the upper is from a trail shoe, while the sole is from a road shoe so the silhouette is kinda unique for asics.
And obviously the colorway is well thought. There's actually quite a lot going on if you compare a normal asics (below) nimbus with the kiko version (above).

If you were wondering about the Dries pricing, the retail was 945€ if I remember correctly. I grabbed them at -40% so it was around 500€. If I was selling these, I'd be asking for 400-600€ range. Not selling currently though, so if someone came up to me and just straight up asked how much to sell, I'd let these go for 700-800.

But other than that, yeah I agree about the SLP boots. These were sort of my alternative to them, because they didn't sell the zip rangers anymore and I didn't want to pay +700-800 for a used pair.
