I need some ankle boots/ trainers so my puttees can fit better in them. Does anyone have any suggestions on spefic shoes or brands?

Where can I find formal jackets with stand-up collars that are the same form as military tunics?
Is there a brand that makes jackets in that form, but for civilians?
Here's the confounding factor: I don't want wool.
The closest I found are historical and contemporary uniform vendors, but I don't want to attact unwanted attention from offended marines, and most of them are wool, anyways.
I know there are nehru jackets and Chinese-style jackets, but I'm specifically looking for the military tunic style form.

For the record, I only really know USMIL, so some kind anon might chime in with a good eurosphere option, but seems to me your best choice would be trying to track down a pair of the old circa-Vietnam DMS all-leather combat boots, not the jungle ones. They're a little lower than para boots and the pattern's starting to come back in style. They'll last more than a few years.

The British Army uses an immense amount of wool for its uniforms - so you'll not see a non-wool variant.
