Ok, when I was a teenager I had this hair style. Now I am in my mid 20's with a receded hairline, I can sometimes feel the temptation to have my hair like a bowl to cover the receding hairline....... But then I had an epiphany!

Having a non juvenile hairline (as in slightly receded/matured at the temples/front in general) is a sign of being a man (DHT byproduct of testosterone that leads to male hairloss particular in the temples/frontal area).

The Bieber hair cut was started by men with receding hairlines trying to cover it up....... But this filtered down and and younger boys started wearing this hair cut having know idea of why the old guys use it. I mean hell, when you are young you should be showing off that hairline not covering it up.

In summary, wearing the Bieber hair cut is indicative of being uncomfortable with being a man/manly, you make your self inoffensive to the feminist society around you.

nah, bro. It was just a fashionable hairstyle in the early-mid 2000's. Just like short spiky hair with frosted tips was before that, and the bowl cut was before that.

Fashion, art, culture, politics, society are all linked though. Think about the women wearing shoulder pads in the the 1980's, it was because they wanted to be like men (in terms of powerful jobs etc). (rounded shoulder are female, square shoulders are male).

Would it not make sense in this age (of feminism and male hate), that mens fashion would lead to wanting to be more female (with hair conveniently covering up their receded male hair line)?

I mean my case is pretty strong, if you will remember, it was skinny jeans that accompanied this hair style too in the early 2000's......... I remember having male friends that specifically bought womens jeans because they wanted them to be even more skinny.

Does my theory not seem plausible?

I'm not >>13304724 but I assumed it was a holdover from emo hairstyles that were popular leading into when Bieber first got popular. The roundness. This is a still from a 30 Seconds to Mars video from 2006. Bieber's cut is a but more neat and in his natural color which is less edgy than the "emo cut" but they both have similar basic shapes. Idk why that cut was so desirable at that time, it was kind of a fad but I'm assuming it works well with a specific face shape

It's really just a popular "counter culture" hairstyle that cycles in and out of being fashionable.

Young Mick Jagger/other early rockers had the same hairstyle, then punk rockers emulated him in the late 70s and 80s, and then emo/screamo bands from the 2000s emulated them, in turn.

It will probably come back into style again in a few years.

IT WAS POPULAR IN THE EARLY 2000s BECAUSE OF THE INDIE ROCK TREND THAT SWEPT THE US

SO NATURALLY LOOKING LIKE THE BEATLES IN THE 1950s WAS THE BEST WAY TO MAKE GIRLS UNDERSTAND THAT YOU WERE A SENSITIVE WIMPY INDIE ROCK TEENAGE TWINK REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAYED EMO OR SURF ROCK OR WHATEVER WITH TOTALLY QUIRKY RETRO HIPSTER TASTES

My mom mentioned it the other day. I was watching a video of him driving his Lambo and my mom walked in when he was poking his out. She said, "Wow his hair has gotten so thin". You can tell in that 'Friends' music video it's getting worse. It's ironic because he shit-talked whatever prince British faggot is balding. Every male in his family is bald from photos seen at his family gatherings, so it was always in the cards.

I'll be watching his case closely. I think he could rock a chrome dome very well and become a much better "pinnacle of baldness" instead of that ugly facelet Statham or dirty mutt Diesel. Him and the 4 members of BTS that are clearly balding.

I sport hair like this, on and off, depending on my length, in between barber trips.

>>13305803

I have a hairline very similar to how Johnny Depp has it, these days. I also often do a variation of curtained hair like he has in that picture, but an early Justin Bieber style fringe is still possible for me, although not as full as it was when I was 18 (I had it well before Bieber had come into the public spotlight). It takes a little more length and bluntness at the front of the hair fringe, in order to accomplish it, but with hairspray or some wax, the style is possible, if not as easy as expected from a Norwood 0 or 1 hairline. I have around a Norwood 2 or 2.5.

Sometimes, my hair looks like that, but without traces of diffuse thinning, just a high and broad forehead look, if the hair is revealed all the way up.

And like it has been stated here, just because you have money doesn't mean you can fix it. There are lots of issues involved with transplants.

His money will get him a hair system but he's still gonna be a dude in a wig.
