I do. I have a show in 2 days in fact. Finishing my year or study and then I'll try to do it full time

I wanna be a model but I don't feel confident enough to approach an agency as opposed to vice versa. I've done a bit of modelling as a favor for my sister and a friend of mine and they said I was alright at it but what do they know ://

I have 2 gigs in 2 weekends away. one for a friends' photo project for a mag she works at & the other I got "street-cast" or whatever.
I've never done like proper modelling before, but am looking forward to it

did modeling when i was a kid and am currently getting headshots done this week. have been in small stuff here and there. a music video with 500,000 views, an adult swim show. one time got a a callback for a super mario commercial in 6th grade lmao. still got the look and the feel for it. definitely have the confidence for it. i feel like any small modeling agency that hears i have experience would sign me and then i can pursue being in extra in like any small local thing around me and network out. hype

Been losing a little weight for the past few months to send headshots in since I doubt I'll be scouted in my shitty small suburb. Now that I'm near my goal weight I think I'm too anxious to do it, fear of rejection is too real.

Only ever been scouted for one of those modelling contests, never for an actual agency.
Didn't win the contest, and have never followed up on any of the contacts I made from there, but I'm tempted to.

it's basically being scouted by someone on the street (usually). like I got one of these>>13301377 gigs from a woman at a techno party coming up to me and asking.
so it doesn't always happen on the street, but normally on the street, hence the name. at music places it isn't uncommon tho.
Hedi found some of his models at punk ish shows in California. it's how he discovered the Garden twins. he would actively seek out people who fit his artistic vision and cast them for editorials and even runway
