If you grow it out as is, you'll look like a 70s musician, which is one of the worst aesthetics in recent human history. However, if you take better care of it (I'm guessing you haven't been), you could pull it off AMAZINGLY. Look into no-shampoo and argan oil, see what'd work best for your hair.

I've been growing out since January from a cropped head. I'm aiming to go for a late 60s look. I think when fully grown out I could look quite like pic related left, but every time I've ever grown out I've gotten to the stage where I'm at the moment (the dreaded Beatles mop top) and given up. Should I go to a hair stylist to tidy up and give me adv or should I grow it out even more first and tidy later.
