I've been getting decent shaves with my old Gillette double edge razor for a several years now. I have a lot of health issue and wearing a traditional tie or bowtie isn't a very good option for me. I've found I can wear bolo-ties with some degree of comfort and find I can quickly remove it should I have to attend to some of my health issues. My issue with bolo-ties is many people act as if you're cosplaying a cowboy and tend to take you less seriously( in the workplace, at funerals, etc. ) and I was wondering if anybody could think of a way to wear a bolo-tie in a way that looks professional without giving off the "cowboy" vibe.

I've thought of pairing a bolo-tie with an odd vest( at the risk of matching the two making the odd vest no longer "odd" ) with the decorative piece matching the color of the vest while matching the cord with shoes.

Well this style is just generic, blend in the background stuff, typical Floridian look. Embroidered shirts, interesting hats, and light fabric pants would be good (shorts are gross imo). And buy good socks. Not standard bleach white, but instead, beige, cream and black.

And converse are a little lackluster with this style unless you genuinely like them, you need a skater look to wear them, especially with shorts.
Get some interesting sneakers, some luxury brand shit, Gucci or Versace, you know (yes, expensive, but worth it, if you dig it).

I've felt guilty about liking number 7 because I feared I tried too hard to be taken seriously, with the shoulder pads and shirt buttoned all the way up and the modest skirt. Guy who made the USSR comment. You're going in the right direction for sure. Your pieces are unique. Each outfit feels a bit 80s still, but in a better way. You do classy yet playful well in the first, and slutty in a good way in the third. Only recommendation is get better shorts. The frill is kinda off putting. Anyway I've got the same hair line, same colour, all that. Don't worry about covering the corners or "wings" as I call them - just focus on getting some of that bulk out of the back and sides. Your face is quite long and thin, and your jaw's not bad so I'd try bringing attention to that instead with short sides, long enough in the top so your hair can kind of fold back on itself, and texture the ends to style.

You could also look at continental ties or other types of neck wear that have become a bit antiquated now. Continental ties specifically are secured with a stud or snap instead of being actually tied around the neck so it isn't as tight and easily removed.
