Im tired of the boring old slim fit pants so i wanna get into the wide fit trend.

How do you style them? Like should they be high waisted and whats the rule on what the top should look like? I also feel like it only looks good when the shirt is tucked but this pic proves it otherwise

is it true that washing new clothes in warmer temperatures "settles" the colour?
For example, washing a new black T-shirt in 40 degrees (instead of 30) would allow the black colour to "settle" and, therefore, look good for a longer period of time.

or is this all bs.

Should I order one from suitsupply.com and go through the annoying buy/return/buy process until one fits close enough to get it tailored, or visit a nearby jos a bank store?

Depends on what you’re trying to draw focus on and what you’re going for.
A tight fitting sweater is going to put more focus on your body and your shoes (especially if your pants/sweater are muted/monochrome).
A loose top will put more focus on the silhouette of the drapes, and create a more noticible contrast between the top and bottom half. Also can draw more attention to your face

I've been getting decent shaves with my old Gillette double edge razor for a several years now. For the past couple months, I have had a harder and harder time getting a decent shave on the left side of my face. It's gotten to the point now where it looks like I just didn't shave that part of my face.

I cannot get rid of these course black hairs spread about my left cheek. My shave gets close enough that I can't feel the hairs at all afterwards, but they are still visually obvious. It looks ridiculous. I don't know what to do. Suggestions?

I think this would be easy to google. Not that that means I'll do it though... I'll just guess: I don't think people would've spent so much time polishing silver if there was another way to keep it neat. Except, you know, keeping it away from oxygen, but I don't see how you'll use it then. So just polish it from time to time, man. Silverware takes maintenance.

No, it wouldn't. Always dress to your company's culture after you've had time to soak it in. No one is going to say you 'can't', but it isn't a good idea. Rather than do that, gradually learn what is and isn't acceptable office-wear and when you can take stylish risks.
That having been said, you can opt for a business casual look that expresses more color in accessories if you haven't started off with coming in totally business.

Hey /fa/, I was hoping you could help me out.

I have a lot of health issue and wearing a traditional tie or bowtie isn't a very good option for me. I've found I can wear bolo-ties with some degree of comfort and find I can quickly remove it should I have to attend to some of my health issues. My issue with bolo-ties is many people act as if you're cosplaying a cowboy and tend to take you less seriously( in the workplace, at funerals, etc. ) and I was wondering if anybody could think of a way to wear a bolo-tie in a way that looks professional without giving off the "cowboy" vibe.

I've thought of pairing a bolo-tie with an odd vest( at the risk of matching the two making the odd vest no longer "odd" ) with the decorative piece matching the color of the vest while matching the cord with shoes.

just diverse, not a bad thing. I struggle with the same problem. I like a lot of things in fashion, I often change my look from day to day. Sometimes I feel 'cute' and wear girlier things, mini skirts and ruffle shirts and socks, sometimes i wear grungier stuff, sometimes I combine the look.

Some outfits are alright, most of them actually. Top outfits are all pretty good.
First one on the bottom is promising but the shirt is really ugly, and the coat actually shortens your arm (maybe wear a black turtle neck instead). Bottom third one is terrible, again, the shirt is ugly. The bottom last one isn't bad but it's not fashionable by any means.

Well this style is just generic, blend in the background stuff, typical Floridian look. Embroidered shirts, interesting hats, and light fabric pants would be good (shorts are gross imo). And buy good socks. Not standard bleach white, but instead, beige, cream and black.

And converse are a little lackluster with this style unless you genuinely like them, you need a skater look to wear them, especially with shorts.
Get some interesting sneakers, some luxury brand shit, Gucci or Versace, you know (yes, expensive, but worth it, if you dig it).

Gotcha. Older style, but not "post-collapse of the USSR-core". lol. I've felt guilty about liking number 7 because I feared I tried too hard to be taken seriously, with the shoulder pads and shirt buttoned all the way up and the modest skirt. I like it, though, because I fear of looking too girly otherwise. I'm pretty short and I get told I look quite innocent. Which is not really what I want to convey... I want to look like no one tells me what to do.

I'll try to put something else together and ask for another rating.

On another note: It surprised me you like the colorful stuff. I though /fa/ preferred a much more muted palette. More like second row, really. Though I get that the army pants and the grey shirt are... you said it. not /fa/. I won't wear it outside of my home.

And last: Can you wear riding pants while not on a horse and not look like an idiot? Pic related

Guy who made the USSR comment. You're going in the right direction for sure. Your pieces are unique. Each outfit feels a bit 80s still, but in a better way. You do classy yet playful well in the first, and slutty in a good way in the third. Only recommendation is get better shorts. The frill is kinda off putting. You'd look good with some nice shorts or maybe even some high wasted. You have good legs so enjoy that. Makeup is good, shoes are good (don't listen to the sneaker comment, you do heels well)

For what it's worth you have an excellent face, skin, and figure.

Champagne colour is cute. I'm not into sequin, but i think that the skirt's fabric is not matching. Not bc of the color, it is too bright and you need some matte complements to low down that shiny top, and cut the light reflex. I think the secret for not looking cheap is matching, further than textures and colors, each cloth finish.

Browsing around and everything that looks decent is way out of my price range. I'm fucked, aren't I?

I have a nice looking pair of black jeans and I think if I skipped out on dress pants I might be able to sneak everything into my budget though. Anyway I've got the same hair line, same colour, all that. Don't worry about covering the corners or "wings" as I call them - just focus on getting some of that bulk out of the back and sides. Your face is quite long and thin, and your jaw's not bad so I'd try bringing attention to that instead with short sides, long enough in the top so your hair can kind of fold back on itself, and texture the ends to style.

And damn get them sideburns gone man

If you just own it and don't look like a cowboy cosplayer then you probably won't be too bad depending on where you live/your environment. I would say that formal events like funerals or in the workplace would probably worth discussing your issue with the organizer/boss. If anyone asks you about it you do have a good reason for why you're wearing it too.
You could also look at continental ties or other types of neck wear that have become a bit antiquated now. Continental ties specifically are secured with a stud or snap instead of being actually tied around the neck so it isn't as tight and easily removed. They're not really available anywhere but vintage clothing stores now though. Good luck anon.
