They just bore me, the smell good, but I would never want to smell them all day, and I don't want to smell like everyone else. At the end of the day, I'm the one smelling it, so my opinion is #1.

Thats not to say you cant have a unique, niche scent that people love.

Some anons in the previous thread were discussing the phenomenon of a perfume bottle becoming stronger over time. I have experienced this in the past with fresh bottles of Creed MI and Aventus, and can now add Bleu de Chanel EdP to my anecdotal list. The bottle that I copped in January felt like a skin scent version of the EdT and was a huge disappointment for me longevity wise. I wore it four times, filled a few 3ml travel vials for friends, then forgot about Bleu and let the bottle sit for a month. When I decided to revisit it today I was actually impressed. Longevity and strength are way up, from 4 hours to 9+ and still projecting. I have to apologize for talking so much shit on this one's performance in the past. Faith in Chanel restored.

As far as I understand, the longevity and projection depends on the skin type (differences in smell is another, more debated topic). Simply put, the drier your skin, the faster the perfume evaporates, hence a lower longevity (and increased projection for that time, but not by much).

This information can be made use of; to increase longevity, apply some scent free moisturizer on the area of skin before applying perfume to it. This will unfortunately have the effect of reducing a bit of its projection. Give and take.

I go between Versace Blue Jeans, Hugo Boss Boss and Invictus right now. Last week I smelled Tuscan Leather for the first time and I'm now considering just switching to it full-time.

Poor /fa/g here. Fragrances are ridiculously expensive where I come from. I considered buying online, but I don't want to get scammed. Do you know of any websites which sell genuine fragrances and ship worldwide? Also, where do you get yours from?

Stop using celebrity perfumes. It makes you look bland and a teenager who blindly follows. Hey that might describe you, but still.

It's not that you have to switch scent styles, say something such as Viva La Juicy Gold Couture would be sweet would be good.

Yours are a girl magnet because it becomes like little girls talking about their fav pop singer.

Depends where you are from and what kinda scents you like. Low priced scents are not bad though, I own plenty of the niche high end scents that are hundreds per bottle but my fav are the much lower priced ones and those are also the ones that get me attention.

Terre d'Hermes is so good. It's my go to in summer because it just smells so fresh.

My regular is currently Versace Blue Jeans, and Dior Homme as a going out fragrance.

Bumping since only reply is a reddit edgel0rd. Does anyone have both? I am mostly looking for a really in your face scent that projects a lot and lasts long too. On the web people say EDT projects better and lasts longer but that doesn't really make sense.
