I am probably not going to have problems with hair loss for the next 30 years of my life (I am 20). But I shave my head to look and behave more mature. I like the constant coolness of my head and I believe that this feeling helps me in being patient and calm. Since I have shaved my head, I am a waaaay more competitive person than I used to be. Man I feel like these are the twilight days of my hair. I had beautiful black lush hair (almost a carbon copy of the one in the OP). It was a bitch to comb and I would often wish for thinner hair while I was younger. Well, careful what you wish for as it's now rapidly thinning on the top after having past 31. You can definitely see it thinning in harsh light now. Strangely Im only really bothered by it when Im looking at it with some mirror tricks (or taking a photo of it). I've been considering this for these exact reasons for a while now. I'm 26, but I look and even feel 19 so I conduct myself like that. I have Purpose-era Bieber hair and have since I was 17. How to get the left and middle one?

Help me out here boys. Been growing out what used to be an undercut because I've never grown my hair out before. The top is finally long enough that I can do a proper slick back (not pictured) but due to my extremely thick hair the sides stay really poofy. Anyway, you need to create separation between the top and sides of your hair to get rid of the helmet hair look. Do this by maybe cutting a bit off the top and and combing/product the sides down instead of straight back, go for a side part. Your hair looks unnaturally dry, don't use shampoo every wash, wait 2-3 days between shampoo use, water or conditioner the other days.

Go with an oil like rosehip, olive, avocado, hemp, sunflower or coconut and add something moisturizing/soothing like honey, an egg, shea butter, or aloe vera. I have some good news for you:

There's a treatment expected to come out in Japan later this year called RCH-01. Basically they clone stem cells from the follicles on the back of your head and put them in the follicles on top, making them immune to DHT and preventing any future hair loss. It's sorta like a vaccine against hair loss.

It's expected to be about $1000 and you're good for life.

Do take fin, though, if you really care. The more hair you keep, the better. Just be honest with yourself about side effects. They do happen.
