I'm skinny in most parts of my body, i.e. arms, lower legs, upper body, neck, face, but my thighs are kinda chunky. Idk if it's my hips or not, but I still feel my thighs are too big. I can pull off thinspo fits and the Saint Laurent/All Saints shit, I just want to slim out my hips and thighs to not have this rounded look to my legs. Would running and calorie restrictions help? I used to do long distance for cross country and track and it made my jawline and face the best looking they've ever been. I just don't want my legs to go /fit/ mode and look like drumsticks. I've downloaded a calorie counter and am eating less. Please help, slim pants fit everywhere except the thighs are a bit tight, but straight is a bit baggy. :(

I've always been skinny, just not always model skinny. If I cut down to a BMI of 15.5 I can get my hips to 34.5-35", and 36" and a BMI of 16.5.

My problem is that with my current workout schedule I'm finding it impossible to cut (constantly hungry and tired) and I really want the health gains that come with a good workout routine. Yeah I do cardio at least twice a week and I walk about 3-5 miles everyday or so.
I don't exercise as much anymore as to be careful not to gain too much muscle again. But when I do, it's either push-ups/pull-ups or just general weight training with light volume. Abs every other day though.

And for dieting, I am heavily restricting lately (<800-1000 net cals per day). But on the weekends I am heavily prone to binging

Does regularly being in these threads actually help motivate anyone to lose weight? I don't really come on /fa/, just /ic/ sometimes. I don't want to be model-skinny as in looking stick-ish, but fit and slender on the top with just the right amount of thicc in my thighs/butt would be ideal. Which sounds pretty easy, just run with ab exercises and do squats and such in addition to dieting. But man my biceps. They've always been my body's most ideal fat deposits. depends on your willpower and what you eat. eat a lot of protein in the form of lean meats and veggies like broccoli and brussel sprouts. carrots, onions, mushrooms, etc... anything that is very calorie deficient but will fill you up helps when you first start too.
as long as you eat smart and keep your health in mind, a caloric restriction is super easy.
also pro-tip, ask yourself why exactly you want to be skiiny/aesthetic and be honest with yourself. i do it for a girl and i'm ashamed of it but she's the only source of true motivation i have.

What is your bone structure like? If it's naturally wide, there's not much you can do to fix that.

Aside from that, make sure you drink A LOT of water if you aren't already. Not being hydrated enough causes your body to retain water even more so on your face.

Jaw exercises maybe? Other than that I don't know what else to say. It may also be likely that your body naturally stores a lot of fat on your face and again, that's something you can't really change

Kids or young teens need places to go to dance and party or socialize. I've been in clubs at that age, was absolutely not a normal thing for me but my friends would go every weekend, even sometimes during the week. I did this with water bottles, a chair, and no other equipment in a tiny 6'x4' floor space. Prioritize your form over your speed. Eat a well-rounded diet with lots of vegetables and protein. Use MyFitnessPal (100% free) and log everything. Treat yourself in moderation. You can have a sweet treat, but limit it to two small portions for the following three or so days. Your diet affects your physical and mental health so fucking much. Eat well, sleep well. Take vitamins.

Focus on your health. Happiness will follow.

How so? Is it a permanent medical condition or a treatable discomfort (brought on by bad posture or something)? Depending on its severity, exercise can cure a bad back.

There's a lot of exercises you can do with a bad back. As with any exercise routine, you'll have to split your exercises up into three days. i.e. Lower body on Monday, upper body on Wednesday, and full body on Friday. Look up exercises for a bad back. The session was surreal, as someone whos been dealing with this shit for longer than I can remember. I forced myself to go because of my muddled thought process and pretty severe concentration difficulties. Finding energy was/is tough.

The particular lady I went to was a specialist, but honestly made me feel like an idiot for blowing 90 bucks on what felt like a conversation with a 14 year old freud-wannabe, despite her years of experience.

She kept bringing up conditions that she assumed applied directly to me, as though EVERY symptom had to apply to me. She didn't really seem to be one to take the individual into account, and any time I tried to object, she made me feel as though it was the ED talking and that I was being controlled by it.

Her general demeanor was awful too, she was super smug and made the whole thing feel like some sort of battle of the wits. Like she was only gonna outsmart me and that everything I said could and would come back to bite me in the ass. It was like a fucking minefield.

She then began to accuse me of being manipulative because I was "doing something [I] feel appeases everyone", which was really the last fucking straw for me.

At the end of the session she pointed out that I zoned out about 5 times during the hour long session, which simply was not the fucking case. In actuality, I was left speechless at how bafflingly dumb a field of study psychology is, and how this person makes a very comfortable living talking shit thats about as valuable as a webMD spiel.

I want to get better, but I've concluded that specific lady is useless. I guess I have to find someone else. Or perhaps the entire thing is futile.

While you can't target weight loss, if you have lean muscle underneath a thin layer of fat it gives the fat a more defined shape. It will lift it a bit and make it spread more evenly. For thighs, ass and stomach you literally just need squats and maybe sit ups. Not even that much, three sets each? Just make it a habit once a day.

I'm 4 pounds from being underweight and the difference in my thighs being squishy or firm was squats.

Thats actually normal, the 'underweight' line at <18.5 is actually pretty "fat" to what you'll see posted here and most people expect. And even if you go full on gym you won't really hit thighs as thin as you expect or see on most models over here.

My mirror is gross but be honest /fa/, what should I do? I started this year off great and going down to 124 pounds in December but haven't gotten past 129.8 since a couple weeks ago. I smoke and get the munchies a lot but I also work out and fast just as much and I think I've gained some weight in muscle but idk. Should I lose or gain anything else?

I‘ve always been rather thin but I gotta admit, in younger years my face looked really deformed, the proportions were way too off. I guess so. To me I still look like a freak but I notice that it keeps getting better by the way people treat me. Some of the facial features are already nearly fully developed when you are born, while others grow out over time. To me my face looks really flat and bland but the people I meet say that I got some really unique features. Maybe one day I’ll be able to profit from it with more than free drinks from fags and easy sex with average girls.
