Why the fuck has no one ever mentioned how glasses make you see yourself completely different?

>be 24 and never wore glasses
>go to renew license
>bomb vision test
>you need glasses senpai
>ok
>go through tedious process of getting them
>glasses finally arrive and put them on
>WHAT THE FUCK
>see every single pore on my face which also look huge af, can actually see every strand of hair like I'm looking through a microscope. I can see every imperfection on my face.

What the fuck /fa/? I was looking forward to wearing glasses because I always liked their aesthetic but now I feel like everyone sees my face like how I do. Before glasses when I looked in the mirror I was always proud of my skin because it's super clear and always looked smoothed and my hair always looked good to me but now those two are the things I'm most insecure about.

If you're used to seeing yourself without glasses, regardless of your skin condition, you're probably going to think you look like shit with them on.
Look into contacts and you can work on your skin if it's really that bad, and not just seeing what a normal persons skin looks like for the first time.

Can't. After seeing my features I noticed that I can actually read things now. So they're a all day thing

I feel you OP

I've got 20/200 vision and I still avoid wearing my glasses as much as possible.

Life looks like a painting this way anyway.
