I'm just trying to stay trim. I'm 30+ and starting to bald, don't even know why I care anymore really.

I've been creeping up in weight lately and been super hungry, not sure what's going on. I've been really bad at controlling myself at dinner too.

Just to be a lot slimmer in general, so clothing looks better on me. one day I'd like to be really skinny and twink-like I guess, I like that sort of thing even tho it's probably not very possible for my size to shrink that much

I always get anxious posting here because i think someone is gonna call me a fatass and tell me to fuck off but I'm just kinda proud of myself for dropping that much weight in the past 2 months and I don't have many friends so I guess I might as well tell all of you

-no tormenting hunger after an days
-cultivates mental discipline

-ascend above mundane human activity of "eating"

The Virgin Calorie Restriction
-constantly unsatisfied, tiny meals only tantalize his body for more
-encourages mental weakness, will relapse into binge eating

Been aiming for a slim build and dieting however I've been pigging out a lot and its frustrating me or I end up eating large meals before gym.

Sometimes can't track stuff on the app. Anyone got some advice for keeping diet in check and good meals as well as curbing my hunger?

I think I might cut out IF and stick to watching calories because ever since I started working I my break isn't within the eating period so I don't get to eat when I get home which makes work (includes physical work) really tiring.

Lots of veggies! A moderate to large deficit (when I eat at a small deficit I tend to feel hungrier) and eating mindfully. Taking time to prepare your food and/or arranging it nicely, chewing slowly and fully taking in the taste, texture and smell of food. You can find some info on this online, it’s usually used to treat eating disorders (both restrictive and bingeing).
I also love-love-love tea.
Finally, if you have a mental health condition get it treated. Therapy and lifestyle changes alone didn’t work for me so now I’ve been on Wellbutrin for a year, but I still keep up with self-care. It’s important to distinguish between hunger and a search for comfort.

I lost 10 lb (from 105 to 95) in 3-4 months but I'm now in a plateau since the beginning of September. I would like to reach my gw 90 losing these last 5 lb and then maintain...

Rice, macaroni, prob some other grains, steamed veggies, even fish. If you're going thin then do less grains, more veg and fish. Get some spices and sauces to cook with variety. American style one day, then Hispanic, then Japanese, then Thai. Whatever. Google is your friend there. Only tool you'll really need is knife and cutting board, maybe a larger mixing bowl. Hit up a thrift store for those. Get a plain edge knife, not serrated, and actually sharpen it. One of the as-seen-on-tv sharpeners will be fine for a thrift store knife. If you get an expensive knife in the future then learn to use a whet stone (practice on the cheap knife first).
Don't know how big your fridge freezer is but there's also pre cooked frozen chicken and microwave veggie packs. Also veg that isn't refrigerated like onions, potatoes, yams. And ramen of course, but don't be a scrub, put veg and meat in it.

You look really well balanced. I think the -5lbs will be amazing.

My recommendation for the plateau is to double triple quadruple check your calorie counting. A lot of times we eat the same things over and over and if we take for granted some measurement of nutrition we thought was right a while back, it's a good time to re check all that with a scale and/or cross reference difference sources for the calories.

Main thing I think is your metabolism is probably slowing, and I'd recommend doing IF18:6 or even OMAD until you reach your goal. Don't break that fasted state that you wake up in, it's really helpful.

Don't drop your calories below 1000, make sure you take a multi vitamin.

Lower your carb intake significantly, replace that with healthy fats and a moderate amount of protein. You could go keto but I think the IF with just a low carb intake is all you need.

I often wasn't able to weight the food but I'll try to find some ways to start this as an habit. Maybe bringing food from home when I don't eat here.

Since I started cutting I developed a sweet tooth that I didn't have before. I'll search some good substitutes for the cravings...

>> No.12834895

>>12834876
The sweet tooth could likely be from vitamin deficiencies. Take a multi and see if that helps. You might consider getting blood work done too, it's easy and useful to have period blood tests.

Sweet tooth cravings are also a bit of a cycle. If you can abstain from sweet all together and keep your sugar intake very low, your sweet tooth should recede.

Remember that fruit has lots sugar in it too. I hate to tell people "don't eat fruit" because it is very good for you in general, but while trying to lose weight it's probably best to eat very very little of it.

Although speaking of period, a lot of women carry a bit more water weight around their cycle so don't fret if things seem to not be progressing at that time. Yeah. I mainly stick to Earl Grey, but an orange or citrus tea is good if you want to put half a tbsp or so of apple cider vinegar in it. It's not a magic ingredient, but it will irritate your stomach a bit/diminish appetite which sometimes helps me when cravings are super bad.

I never liked tea at first. I started with chai and sweet tea, and worked my way back by decreasing the sugar in my sweet tea until I just drank it black. Iced tea is good for getting used to the tea flavor, because cold temps make it hard to get a full scope of flavor.

IF is an eating habit, not a diet. You still need to watch your calories, although you will get a bit of a benefit from the fasting periods because your insulin sensitivity will improve so much.

The main thing is also if you wait to eat until late afternoon or even dinner, it's harder to eat too many calories. For me, I don't get hungry now until mid afternoon. Your body adjusts and gets used to that. If I eat breakfast I'm very hungry early in the day, if I don't I'm hungry late.

I'm 26.

I mostly get REALLY hungry around my period. And, I don't know, I've been maintaining this weight for about a year and a half now. I don't feel super hungry that often unless I've been working out, but I do occasionally feel lightheaded, which is when I need to eat ASAP. + I try to always eat things that fill me up when I eat.

Not sure if it is going to help yet, going to give it a few weeks before I judge. I'm hoping it gives me more energy too, my whole life I've been tired so don't even think it's the dieting so much.

Hm. I know iron makes some people sick, maybe try a multivitamin without iron. Birth control can make that worse.

Maybe compare the ingredients in the gummies you tolerated to the multivitamin you didn't from Korger?

You could also get some blood work done. I'm due also. I mean it's kinda pointless to a vitamin if you aren't deficient in anything, and if you are it's probably just a few things so could just supplement those.

No need to be nasty. That's your decision, there are even advantages to doing it that way. However, mostly these are mealcucks that are eating a bunch of small meals a day - once I get them to do a little research they will be advanced enough to know that they can choose the eating window they want. Well, I did it again. I was getting my hair cut yesterday and they were watching CNN and the newscasters were actually supporting the anti-american NFL.

On the way out I grabbed a chocolate mint from a dish they had and that sent me spiraling. I stopped at Five Guys and got three Bacon Cheeseburgers, two orders of fries, two cheese dogs, and a large drink - only leaving after I ran out of money (I didn't order it all at once, I kept just going back up for more). Then I drove home and put two pizzas in the oven, and made an entire box of De Cecco Rigatoni with some bottled sauce. I ate all that, then went in the pantry and ate two boxes of cookies, two bags of pretzels, an entire bag of macadamia nuts.

This morning I feel like I've regained control but it's not going good.

I'm maintaining. I love to cook and eat, so IF is mostly so that I can enjoy great meals. There is certainly no need to do OMAD to maintain, although some people like it. I do 16:8 lunch + dinner now because I'm a wageslave and don't have time to make a proper breakfast in the morning. So to eat some quick grab shit is just a waste and I'd rather eat better later in the day.

What is your diet like? You can do 2 meals and then just make them more calorically dense. Same way how people losing weight like to add in large low calorie foods, if you need more calories you can add in smaller higher calorie foods like avocados and that type of thing. Good fats are wonderful for maintaining even energy levels.

1000kcal each day in two meals (lunch and dinner), I usually have enough cal left for one-two treats. If I have to study or work in the morning one of these is a small breakfast. If I don't have to, I eat a dessert after each meal (a biscuit, a small icecream...) or a frozen yogurt in the afternoon.
My main meals are usually proteins+veggies(+a slice of bread sometimes) or soups+bread or legumes or 70g of pasta with variable sauces (I'm from Italy, you can't always avoid it :3 ).
Occasionally pizza (usually without mozzarella).
It's almost like my diet before I started counting calories 4 months ago but in smaller quantities. I didn't meet particular problems or need to binge...

My diet was <400 breakfast and <400 lunch, no snacks or dinners, and no food after 3pm and before 9am. sometimes I'd skip breakfast, sometimes lunch, sometimes both and do multiple fast days. All went brilliant. I don't eat when I don't want to, I don't crave. Now I try catching up with nuts and dried fruit and milk in tea/coffe to get it to 600 cals morning and lunch, and in theory I planned additional 300 calories in the evening, which I never got to. I simply don't want to eat anymore you feel me.

I'm currently 49kg at 163cm. Trying to eat 1500 daily but almost always only reach 1000. I keep loosing momentanely unless I don't catch up with some super big meal every three days that hurts me physically and doesn't actually work anyways.
I also bike daily and am generally very active so my TDEE might be like 1800 idk.

I like eating nuts too but they are actually pretty hard to digest. Salmon is a good one for calories, 6oz is 350 calories and it goes down easy (provided it is well prepared). Maybe also do some sauces, their base is often pretty calorically dense but they go down easy. Like I'll make Dover Sole, which isn't very calorie dense in itself, but make it with a simple lemon, caper butter sauce. Or scallops in a beurre blanc.

Simply adding a tablespoon of oil to sauces, salads and during cooking can quickly add 135 calories. Cheese is a good one. Of course pasta is good for calories, and the carbs will likely make you a little more hungry your next meal.

Maybe you don't feel like cooking but could go to restaurants and order with calories in mind.

Is your diet very low in carbohydrates now? Just raising that a bit should help bring more hunger.

Uhm maybe both, we also have various recipes for pasta/pizza/bread with sauces made mainly by vegetables...they're my favourite :) like pasta+broccoli boiled and then cooked in a bit of oil and garlic, pasta with zucchini...100g of pasta is considered a full portion and we don't eat it more than 1 time a day. Hardly the meals exceed breakfast/lunch/afternoon snack/dinner even for the normies. I gave up the afternoon one, if I crave I found useful to eat a candy (less than 10 kcal and it does the trick). We are the land of carbohydrates but you can make it if you pick the healthier recipes based on veggies and proteins :)

And then suddenly, from one day to the other, I'd feel like I'm the best being in the world and that this whole thing destroys my true beauty and I had to stop, and that really I don't want to look like straight from Auschwitz. And on those days my whole philosophy would crumble and I'd be in a lot of pain. Then I go back to normal - wanting to slap myself across the face and all. And everythong turned to harmony.

Why is it like that. All the while yes I do love everyone around me (mostly). And y'all are no exception. You cool people.

Thanks anon for the kind words. I'm so bad at losing weight. I never really fast, I always give in, I can do OMAD some days but even that's a struggle... then I end up binging the day after or something. It's like I handle the hunger for a short while and then I just go "fuck it" and then when I start eating I can't stop.

>>12840758
It wasn't really that. It's just been life in general. I mean I think that was just like the last drip that broke the damn sort of thing. I'm not really even on /pol/, I guess /pol/ does spill over elsewhere but I don't really identify with a lot of that.

Whatever you do, don't purge. Just stay safe, sweetheart. It takes practice. I recommend getting a intermittent fasting app. Gradually work your way up. I know you can do it.

Nuts can be fucking brutal. Sometimes I'll snack on too many and it feels like there is a car parked in my stomach. I guess it's just because they are so hard and sharp? Really awful feeling. I probably didn't chew them enough either.

I try to be nice but sometimes I'm mean. More than I should be. I long-game troll people (probably my worst offenses), rudepost, shitpost, I wish I was a better anon. A lot of the people I pick on are the closest things I have to friends. I think I mostly take my own depression and loneliness and send that anger at other people. The worst kind of person is what I am.

You're not the worst kind of person, anon. For some people, you gotta learn to be nice. When I think of posting something mean, I try to think that other anons in this thread are all like me. They're hungry and tired. Maybe they purged. Maybe they gained (it's probably water weight, let's be real)

I wouldn't want to hear something horrible like "kys yourself fatso" so I wouldn't say that to an anon.

Hey, thinspo, I've been told that my fat gut may just be water weight and that daily exercise and less sodium will get rid of it, I've got the exercise down, but I dont know how to lower my sodium intake as a lot of my food has a good amount of sodium. Anyone know some good low sodium food?
