La Nuit isn't worth it at it's current price; maybe if you can find it for cheap.

Sauvage is great, but it's for warmer weather and it's loud as fuck; plus everyone has it.

Prada L'homme if you want a clean, non-offensive fragrance that will garner compliments; great for work and school, but put some effort into your presentation when you're wearing it, otherwise it will be incongruent.

Anyway to answer your question, as it's often repeated here, EN is one of the most polarizing designers, in your case it's a miss, which is nothing odd. For lots of people it powerfully evokes some memory or a scene, something that rarely happens with designers.

Additionally it's a very dark scent with absolutely no sweetness to it, which sets it apart from other cold-weather scents. Anyway you did well by sampling it beforehand

Tonka beans are fine to eat. Yes, they contain coumarin, but that's only dangerous if ingested in quantities you would never realistically consume. You'd need to eat like 10 full beans for it to be dangerous, and it takes like 1/3 of a bean to flavor an entire batch of ice cream. Interestingly, they smell very little like tonka in fragrances.

Overrated is right. Tobacco Vanille smells like Vanilla. Tuscan Leather smells like leather. Plum Japonais smells like plum. Noir de Noir smells like rose. Outside of their main 1 or 2 notes there is little going on in these fragrances.

I've only smelled the opening of Pure Havane on paper, but from what I smelled it's quite different from Pure Malt. Pure Havane has a really strong cherry-tobacco note to my nose, with emphasis on the cherry. Pure Malt opens up very fruity with that "malty" smell underneath. PM's drydown is very much like the original A*Men, which is to say it's very chocolatey, minus the herbal quality of A*Men.

Is there a good, perhaps even saltier version of Millesime Imperial? I really don't think it's worth the price they charge, but it is a nice enough scent that I would be interested in getting something similar.

I'm having a weird time with my D&G The One again. It smells wonderful again, which is nice. I think the distance at which I spray affects it. It was missing a lot of the ambery tobacco, but now I sprayed onto my skin at a very close distance, and it went from a nice grapefruit to the lovely tobacco I bought it for.

I've spent years hearing about how amazing La Nuit de l'homme supposedly is. I've now tried samples of it at Nordstrom on three different occasions and YSL sent me a sample of it when I ordered something else. What the fuck are people on about? has anyone tried spicebomb before?
i was looking around online and ive seen people say its a good alternative to burberry london, which is currently my favorite right now.

i love the smell of burberry london, the problem is though it doesnt last too long and the silage is pretty weak. it seems like spicebomb last longer and has a much greater silage.

so any thoughts on this? or perhaps a better alternative if there is one? I know theres the infograph but i want to hear peoples experience rather than a picture with descriptions.

I'd say they're fairly different. Spicebomb is almost like a sweet, spicy, cinnamon bubblegum. I like it a lot, but some people don't like it so much. It does last forever and has great projection, though.

I'd definitely say it projects a lot of cinnamon and general sweet spicy saffron kinda vibe, really good for the cold, if you manage to get a bottle that was from its first couple months since release like I did, you'll get a much more powerful cinnamon accord, it was reformed cause quite a few people found it a bit much. One of the few decent designers I keep.

Well I got mine from the store at the time but if you look on Ebay, there are plenty of real vs fake comparisons you could find for spice bomb but definitely look for a batch code in their pictures, if they don't have any ask to see them. You can just use that code on a perfume batch code website and find when it was produced.

depends. citrus and aquatic fragrances are refreshing and best for hot weather but they usualy have weak performance so in the colder weather you would waste spraying it because they can't cut throw the cold. while sweet and heavy fragrances are very powerful for the cold weather but can choke you in the hot weather.

If you want something to wear for all occasions in the cold go with mont blanc individuel. very cheap and quality stuff.

That's the only thing that comes into my mind that if work apropiate but would also work in a date scenario. I don't wear frags to work but usualy you want something non-pertruding like bleu de chanel or tom ford grey vetiver. And when you go out you can get something that is sweet, loud and sexy, like

Don't blind buy fragrances, especially not if you don't have the money to waste. You should at least be able to try the Issey Miyake at a local store, it's fairly common. The others will be harder to et a hold of.

I had used the l'eau d'issey for a few years. It's a solid choice, and lasts very long on clothes as well. If you do ever have the money to spare, check out Prada l'homme. It's very airy and inoffensive whilst having a more sophisticated, luxury feel to it than l'eau d'issey. Unfortunately it doesn't have the same kind of performance

Man 2 is nice. Very popular and considered a "safe" choice. Has a powdery iris note to it that isn't exactly my favorite, but it doesn't kill it for me. Not a huge compliment getter, but that doesn't really matter.

Forgot my fragrance and friend offered me to take any of his prior to going out. I chose Versace Eros because I wanted to try it for a while but didn't have a chance. I got laid that night so it definitely evokes nice memories and it smelled surprisingly good. Think I might get a 30ml bottle.
