Just copped some MiE docs for new wardrobe and MA1/M65 seems to look pretty good with them but I'm wondering if they're a total shit meme or not and need some help so I'll just say what I was planning to do and just agree or shit on me pls.

I was going to buy Alpha Industries M65 jacket and MA1 bomber since it seems worth it from what I've read. My wardrobe is standard mono colours.

MA1 - Not sure if I should Black or Petrol(Navy) or Sand? I really like the petrol but don't think its as versatile.

M65 - Olive or Black?

Can you still layer bombers well with jumpers and are denim jackets possible or not?

Am I overpaying for AI?

I don't want to go full skinhead/military fag core so I'm open to other jacket recommendations I just have no fucking idea how to layer well with a bomber.

Nigga there's a reason every designer has his variation of bomber jacket each season since 00s. It's "timeless" type of jacket like coat or denim jacket. Just don't get AI one and invest into one with interesting details and personality.

MA-1 is played out. You put it on now and you look dumb because you look like someone getting into the trend when it's over.
The people telling you it's "timeless" forget that for some reason. Maybe it's a lack of interaction with other people? It's clearly not because they do not fear judgement: /fa/ has been crippled by a fear of judgement for a long time.
I'd give it a couple of years before you wear an MA-1 again.

MA-1 is good looking on its own but crazy overplayed rn, just looks like mallcore to most people now. M-65 is just as (or more) ~timeless~ imo and definitely the better choice. I’d recommend the black colorway personally if you’re buying from AI, if you want a green one you can get surplus way cheaper. If you do end up going with a bomber tho CWU-45s look better than MA-1s anyway.
