Okay guys, I'm starting to feel like a retard trying to figure this out.
My hair goes to the left over my forehead and it looks alright to me in the mirror, but since mirror images are flipped, it looks different for people looking at it, and whenever I look at a photo, it looks awful.
Is it just that I'm used to the orientation in the mirror and I'm not used to the correct orientation, or can flipped/unflipped images make hair look better/worse?

Looking to replace my pic related slim fit cargo trousers with something very similar but good quality.

I know it's kind of inevitable, it's just way hairier (?) than any suede else I've had before, even that picture doesn't convey it entirely, and I didn't see anything on a cursory search about maintaining that look and feel (and I've always had cheaper suede I just trashed without maintenance, hence the trepidation and neediness). it's also harder to cut through blogs and such being sponsored or blindly parroting meme products/using single applications without any real conception of long-term effects for a quick video or opinion. I figure I can preserve the quality to some extent to get something of a patina instead of rough splotches, or at least have the shoe last longer than it would without upkeep
as a basic regimen, brushing after a wear, rotate it, shoe trees, any specific spray or cleaner? I don't really have a baseline for acceptable or reasonable care to work from
