I can see it for festival or themed night out even if it would look dumb it would t look too out of place, but it wouldn't look good.

Unusual coloured lipstick is usually pretty dumb and if you're wearing it then it's to make some sort of point rather than because you like how it looks.

Looks best with no eye makeup/undetectable eye makeup or just a little bit of mascara. Really only wearable for going out in a big city.

This has already happened. You can buy blue lipstick at CVS if you want. Lots of brands of all price points make these bold colors now, where in the past you were stuck with Halloween costume/hot topic tier quality makeup or the occasional niche brand.

The fact that maybelline makes such colors now is dhowing just how much this will soon be a thing. Give it 2 more years or so and it will be normal
