I've had the same thing happen to me after trauma to body, cutting hair made me feel better like less was falling out. Back to full head of hair now. Be careful, though, if she has large spots where it's thin it's gonna look like pic related. Kinda just have to wear a hat and wait for it to grow in a little or dye it a light color.

uh take your wife to the doctor and have her iron tested, i'm 95% sure she has anemia. happened to my mother, she started taking iron and her hair thickened up to normal again. don't worry.

anemia is quite common in women, cause periods or something idk im not a women. and if you're wife is a vegan or something autistic then shes going to have to get more iron one way or another. it's either iron or something like b12, in which case you could also have her methylmalonic acid tested.
