A tangential question, but W2C pants for tall muscular legs?

I have 36 inseam with pretty muscular legs. I find that even pants that fit me, don't "fit" right. Would I be correct if I assumed that most brands just increase length and width without scaling the fit, (i.e. The same space for ass as a smaller person.)
