Black jeans are the best. I like really light faded jeans but they aren't really in style right now. A pair of well fitting black jeans will work with anything.

Just get some t-shirts from Everlane or Uniqlo. I'd say for a start get like 2 white, 2 heather grey, 2 black.

Also don't wear those brown shoes and belt with black/grey pants. If you're trying to be minimal consider switching the shoes and belt with black ones, and drop the brown pants. If you really like the brown, just get some black shoes and a black belt also.
