Is it possible to look good by pretty much only thrifting?

Also, general thrift tips/advice.

i'm sure you've heard about it before, but the nicer the area is where you're thrifting, the higher the chance you'll run into something really nice. other than that, you can look nice from average thrift stores if you're good looking/pretty/skinny/fit/ etc from the getgo

I go for sweatshirts, pretty chill and cheap. it depends on how good/many thrift stores are near you and how rich and old the population is.

You might find a complete wardrobe in a visit or search for months for one item. It can be done, but it depends on a lot of circumstances.

In December I found a bunch of dress shirts, more than one needs. However the months that followed, not a single shirt that was even acceptable.

Except I usually am pretty lucky. I wanted a windbreaker once and went in looking for one, found a brand new Adidas one for like 15 bux.

The other day I went looking for a black hoody cause I wanted to do pic related to it. Came up empty but decided to look again today and found a North Face hoody. Got 20% off just for asking nicely.
