Any other perfume that girls find invisistible? I was thinking about getting Dior Sauvage as well

Na it smells the same to me. The only thing that brings out the sweetness is when I put a drop of water on the area I applied the fragrance, try that. And it's more of a candy sweetness than your typical sweetness.

I'm looking for something for the Autumn and Winter since I mainly have Spring/Summer scents.
I want something that can project in the cold, I tried Hot Water and Aramis Black and liked Aramis after the drydown.
I'm 24, so I still wonder if Aramis is too old man like.
I was thinking of copping some CDG samples, maybe Black and Wonderwood. My budget would be £60 at most. It may be hard to find legit CDG bottles at that price though.

I've tried most of the line. It's hard to say whether you'd like it or not, they kind of all share a similar DNA but a lot of them are very specific scents. For starters I would try Cape Heartache, Memoirs of a Trespasser, and A City on Fire. Those to my nose are the most interesting, Cape Heartache containing a very strange strawberry note under smoky pine which is certainly something I've never seen. Memoirs is probably my favorite from the line but it is very vanillic and sweet so if that's not your thing then stay away from that one.

Also something worth mentioning is the company is run by really great people, any time I've ever asked for extra samples they're always super generous and toss in way more than I asked for and they even mailed me the newest unreleased fragrance with a few samples just for sending them a thank you email. Truly a good people, whether the product is good or not is up to you.

Wow, I have the exact same feeling but I couldn't have put it better. I actively disliked it when I first looked at it, but looking closer some of the art like the hands is effay. I think I kind of cringed at the name/branding of stories when I first saw it too.

>>12430111
Yeah I just kind of put it out there generally as a topic without my own likes/background. I really like very natural smelling/interesting things. Cape Heartache caught my attention first because I love pine and woods and saw it as a similar recommendation to Slumberhouse Norne (my favourite), but the fruity sweet strawberry note makes me think I won't like it. I usually don't like sweet/vanilla at all but I haven't really gone out and tried anything in that area because of my bias.

The Soft Lawn intrigues me the most though, especially because I love the scent of fresh opened tennis balls and it might give me nostalgia. Ordering direct from them would probably be costly to Canada though.

pink for girls and blue for boys is a trend that started about halfway through the 20th century, and flowers are a perfectly manly scent in plenty of hypermasculine cultures right now

So, what's everyone here's "favorite" reaction or comment they've gotten to a frag they were wearing? What frag elicited it?

Me, personally, it was from Creed MI.

I was with this girl, and we were on the bed. I'd gotten my shirt off and I'd gotten her out of her dress, and she was wearing one of those one-piece negligee deals underneath, dunno what you call them. We'd been making out for a while and I was kissing down her neck and collarbone area, and she was nuzzling my neck and shoulder. At one point, she starts deeply sniffing and almost moans "you smell so good". Then she pulls back, looks at me with this little smirk on her face, and goes "but I think you knew that, didn't you?".

This. Fashion changes, what's considered fashionable one year is often not fashionable the next. Men used to wear high heels back in the day. Little boys used to wear dresses. That's not the fashion anymore, so we don't associate those things as manly. That doesn't mean those things are INHERENTLY feminine. That's not even taking into account cultural differences.

Same deal here, in our society, right now, it is fashionable for men to smell a certain way as women to smell a certain way. The current fashions will change. Maybe in a few years, some designer will make a scent that smells super floral and sweet and fruity, and market it towards alpha manly men, and suddenly clubs will be full of Chads who smell like potpourri.

They do, it's just pretty damn difficult for anyone to pick out particular frags. I know frags very well and I can only very rarely pick out specific fragrances on other people.

>>12437298
You've got the right idea. Very, very few people know fragrances terribly well. 95% of people go to the department store and basically just buy whatever the sales lady pushes on them.

Fragheads think wearing a popular fragrance will get people making fun of them or some shit, but the reality is you're extremely unlikely to find someone who wears the same fragrance as you, even if it is popular, let alone someone who can identify what you're wearing by scent alone.

Keep in mind also, body chemistry can make the same frag smell very different on different people, which also makes it hard to pick out what scent someone is wearing, even if it's one you're very familiar with.

>> No.12437494

A dab/roller is for more discreet and controlled placement and will generally last a much longer time than a sprayer of the same quantity.

As for edp vs oil, the latter will generally be more concentrated, but may not actually perform better than the edp.

It really comes down to personal preference in application imo.
