>Kanye West

Why exactly? Don't get me wrong, I'm not rushing to defend Kanye, I'm not a fanboy or anything, but this seemingly knee jerk shade casting is irksome and your childish ages make it even more irksome. This swarm of posturing hiveminds reminds me of... gee, I don't know, people who blindly hype Kanye. You're no better, except you carry with yours the added pretension that you're smugly superior for hating on the guy the popular Chads at your high schools listen to.

Personally, I'm not super big on his stuff but I think Kanye's brand does do some pretty good things with footwear and muted tones.

What don't you like about his stuff in particular? Judge it on its own merits or lack thereof. You are not allowed to use the words "nigger" or "hypebeasts."

>>12325785
I don't even know who the guy on the right is, or the significance of that, but this picture has always irked me. Guys have this mindset about girl too. Imagine if a smoking hot girl with her thong sticking out was dancing on top of the bar and going "woooooo!" Guys would be like "BRO EPIC!" If an ugly hamplanet did the same thing they'd be like "oh god that fat annoying attention whore bitch".

It's just neckbeard excuse making/victim complex. Loose weight and buy some Clearasil, damn.

I want a mix of handmade/one off practical pieces, nods to "fashion" wear, and an effortless neutral wardrobe of menswear. James Dean meets Vetememes meets a woodsman at a black metal concert.

Odd mix but it makes me feel comfortable without feeling "out of fashion", I hate getting rid of clothes because they have bad associations thanks to a brief fad.

Thanks Kanye and Bieber for ruining overwashed, loose fitting practical wear.

12327135 here. Yes I'm actually 18. I don't like the sneakers that cost that much because it's 100% branding. I'm perfectly happy with paying for quality. $500 buys you a nice watch that will feasibily last my entire life. My Grail watch is a Royal Oak Tourbillon or a Patek Nautilus, which I'll never be able to afford. One day I'll probably step up to an Omega Speedy DSoM, but for now I'm content with my small collection: a couple Seikos, my Bulova, and an decent skeleton dial automatic my parents got me, can't remember the brand.

$1000 sneakers will still get beat up and work out just as fast as a $100 pair. My most expensive shoes are Red Wing Iron Rangers, pricey but 100% worth it. Totally different then bullshit designer crap that costs a fortune simply because of a brand name.

>A nice, fall coat with a muted olive colour. I wear it everyday and bought it for a really expensive price since I knew it'd last for a long while. Had it for a few years now.

>Either my headband, which actually matches my coat, or my underwear. I wear a headband to keep my hair in line, it's not really noticeable and I'm not some ninja samurai warrior.

>No, not really. I seem to have reached a spot where I am comfortable with myself, since I've lost a ton of weight, gotten a nice wardrobe and stuff. Currently diving into photography and writing, creative stuff which a friend pointed out to me 'enhanced' my character.

Usually I like random stuff on the internet which creators I don't know. Right now I like some of those aesthetics:
1) Ann Demeulemeester, Yohji Yamamoto and similar dark
2) demobaza postapocalyptic mixed with minimalist items
3) oversized floaty trousers, dresses, skirts and tops, often sold on etsy
4) 70s inspired hippie style, faux fur, deep v-necks, batwing arms, but really well made and with fitting colors, velvet, intricate patterns, not just random tie dye
5) from cheaper and more affordable, allsaints and religion clothing

I don't follow designers I don't like. Probably something that includes gold, lots of logos, fashion bimbo style.

I like fashion more as art, I don't need to wear everything. Many of the stuff I like is not even wearable on daily basis. I want design something on my own. Also, I would like to buy an oversized bomber jacket with shirred long sleeves and shirred back, but haven't found it yet.

>do you have an end goal for style you want to get to/do you have a style you maintain you love
Being ~5'7, wiry/athletic, but with thick lowerbody and not-so-broad shoulders, fit is really difficult for me to get right and I'm always striving to do it with as little effort as possible. Its a struggle, but I think that getting the fit/proportions correct is really key to the way I try to dress myself.

I tend to go for simplicity, and having aesthetic "golden ratio" proportions for everything really is the difference maker.

street style photographer here. Honestly being a pleb is alright. you can wear a 5 dollar shirt and jeans from old navy and still look alright. Clothing is basically a description of yourself and also shows the wealth you push into it. Being a pleb isn't bad. What is pretty bad is buying expensive shit and trying to separate yourself from others. I mean fashion designers, rappers, and what not i guess it's fine, but when you're nothing more than just a human, it looks ridiculous.

Honestly the kids are young and not made of money. And to everyone, rock what you have and make the best of it
