Guy in my 20s, I have curly hair and want to grow it long (not puffy), so I need help keeping it controlled.

Reading this pic from young stalin on curly hair: [http://young-stalin.com/image.php?id=-infos--13367281710478.jpeg] it mentions that if I wash my hair (I assume they mean wash using shampoo) it should not be often, only washing with conditioner to keep the curls tame. However, I get a lot of dandruff so I don't know if I should do this since I use Head & Shoulders to treat my dandruff problem and am afraid if I stop washing daily I'll have so much dandruff they'll cast me on christmas plays to do the snow.

Is there any way to treat dandruff while keeping tame curls? Maybe a conditioner that helps? Will I be just fine if I don't wash often as stated by the guide?

I did use a product to keep them tame some time ago and that seemed to do the job (can't remember product name, will post later) but I dunno if I'm missing out on better ideas.

Ah shit right, there's a hair general. Moving it there.

>Using Head & Shoulders

There's your problem. You have to find what works for you, but I also have very curly hair and used Kerastase anti dandruff (the green one) for 6 months which fixed it. You're only supposed to use line a penny sized tuff every time you wash your hair, 3 to 4 times a week so I think it might help with what you're looking for. H&S is garbage and tends to make dandruff worse, not better.

Oh shit, I thought it actually helped.
What green one? All I see are white ones with a blue line under the logo and stuff.

Yeah it's trash, I've had hair dressers recommend me using plain Nivea/Dove over it.

The green one's the second colour from the right in this pic. Hope it helps, my dandruff was really bad and completely gone after 6 months with this so I'd say it's worth the money.

Whoops sorry! The one with the bright green cap, so the leftmost one in that photo. Forgot to count white.
