Front hair is longest part, and as you go back, hair is shortened by scissors. Sides are faded up to a 3 and blended with the hair on the sides. Back of head is blended with the scissor shortened hair that is being slicked back.

alright, here's what you need

A can of murrays
a fine tooth comb
a course toothed comb

When you're taking your shower put that can of murrays on the floor, so the hot water melts it up. My routine is to wash my body first while it's heating up for time efficiency

After its the Murrays is melted, scrape some off the top layer, and then spread it into your palms, and then into your hair.

take the fine tooth comb and here your simultaneously combing it evenly into your hair (like slicking it straight back), and scraping off some excess.

When your out of the shower just comb it however you want with the coarse comb toothed comb and let it dry.

I also do no shampoo, I think that probably played a role.

Volumizing conditioners, a bit of pomade at the roots, and sea salt spray.

For the pomade, flip your hair the opposite of the way it normally lies, run your hands through it with the pomade, then flip it back and let it sit for a minute. Your hair should bouce up a bit.
