Start giving them certain pieces that fit that style. And whenever you're with them and see that style make a comment or two on it. Nothing big, just enough to get it in the back of their head. Women are like kids, all it takes is time and some effort and you'll be good to go.
Also make sure the style is something that actually fits the person.
