Honestly shopping for pants online is impossible unless you've bought the exact model before.
Shirts/tops can kinda work within a range of body types, and the measurements give you a good idea of what you're getting into, but pants are much more personal, and the fit/size/material/cut differs from brand to brand.
Uniqlo has some really nice chinos for decently cheap, but I'd stay away from their jeans -they are cut in a very, very low rise, which makes them incredibly un-versatile, and they certainly aren't worth the $50 price tag.

I really only like high rise jeans, which are surprisingly hard to find, and Acne has it.
I'd get a pair of levis 511 as placeholders, and wait for an SSENSE sale or similar to get a pair of quality shit.
A good wardrobe won't happen overnight - I certainly don't have one - plan out your purchases, build up some basics, and then start picking up some real, designer shiet.
