I am having a really difficult time finding the right size Strands. I wear an 11 or 10.5 in everything I own. 11: Vans, Johnston & Murphy, Florsheim. 10.5: Clarks

The first time I went into the Allen Edmonds store, the guy told me I'm a 10.5 D. Got a pair of those and they're super narrow and long.

Went in another time and the girl insisted--like crazy fucking insisted--I'm a 9.5 E. Got a pair of those and the 3 toes farthest from my big toe hit the front. Back in the store, they're being really difficult saying I need to break them in like I'm being picky or something. It would be great if I could just try a bunch of shit on without needing permission from some kind of gatekeeper but they're pushy as hell.

Can anyone help me hone in on a size so I don't have to keep sending shit back? I just want a pair of shoes, not weeks worth of trial and error.

Vans Authentics in size 11 are the perfect fucking fit--is there just a way to translate that to the size of the strand?

On a Brannock I'm in between a 10.5 and 11 B

They're sort of right, a shoe will break in to fit your feet after a while. But it shouldn't be massively uncomfortable out of the gate.

Your foot changes throughout the day in relation to size, it swells up over time. That might be how they're getting different sizes. I would go to a self serve store (like a famous footwear lol) at the end of the day and measure your own foot. Then go get that size.

But the last the Strand is built on may not work for you, regardless of the size. Sneakers are typically a D width to suit the most people.

Hey, guys.

I am not new, been here since 2012-13.
BUT!
I still don't know what to wear casually, I either wear exact picrelated avant-garde shit, or my very old clothing - the set consists of green parka, old caterpillars and black uniqlo chinos, each piece is tore into pieces, multiple holes on them.

How the fuck do I dress casually for winter? I just want to go have nice time at cafes with random tinder matches. I also want it to be rather versatile, so I could go clubbing as well. And I don't want to buy peacoat.
Please, provide pics and exact stores (preferably mass-market tier).

P.S. Which top should I throw in with pic related?

OKAY so a while ago i wrote myself up on a draw for this jacket on end, not knowing it would be bought AUTOMATICALLY especially when i didnt know that the price would be this fucking high (468 euro holy fuck)

what i wanna know is do i do everything possible to cancel this now, because i can absolutely not put 468 euro on a jacket, or have i actually been blessed by winning the draw, will a lot of people want to buy this at resale value, and what would that be if it is like that?

So I've been going through my closet and in addition to finding 4 figures worth of forgotten birthday money, I found out that at least half of my wardrobe fits like shit. Half my chinos are salvagable, but I'm practically swimming in every single one of my jackets and my button-ups (My mom buys me medium when I look better in small). Any of you have any boots with larger than average heels?

When I tried on my size I sort of flopped all over the place when I walked. When I sized down I seemed to be able to walk normally, so I bought those.
Now they are kind of bothering me in tightness: I'm wondering if I just needed a little more practice with a high heel, leather sole boot.

What was your experience getting large heels? Did you buy the same size you usually do?

this is basically number one rule of fucking losing weight. focus on the thing that helps you lose weight the most and boosts the amount you do lose when exercising: dieting. you don't have to fucking malnourish yourself, just eat about 100-200 calories less than your body is normally acclimated to. if you're bigger, the calorie amount will be higher, vice versa for thinspo folk. general rule of thumb is 2000 for the average.
