Your hair looks silly here when I feel like it could be <maybe> cool if it weren't for the dumb hat dynamics. It might could look better if you wore a hat/beanie that was more seated on your head.

There's no colour coordination whatsoever. The darker colours of the sweater and sweats(?) are okay together, but for a baggy fit like this, I feel like there should be more distinction between the top and bottom. Bag and hat are fine on their own colour-wise, but look goofy with the rest (not coordinated).

The interaction between the shoes and pants is a no-go since the exposed socks + sweats combo gives an athletic look, contrary to the rest of the fit (beat up shoes and sweater especially).

Apart from the clothes, the blank glare you're giving makes you look like you can't make eye contact with people. Couple that with the awkward pose (just letting your body parts hang loosely) and you look like you avoid eye contact at all costs while speedily sulking to your grade 11 math class where you're going to read Naruto for 60 minutes in the back corner.

The wrong pose can make things look awful, so I'd imagine that you don't look quite as wrong in motion.

You see, the German Bundeswehr has recently (alright, in the 1990s) switched to a clothing system that sounds exactly like the description of techwear that I recently read. Basically, the new BDUs are made in a manner of the "onion principle", aka layers, to be added to or subtracted depending on temperature and outside environs. It's got pockets out the ass because military (obviously), the outermost layers are watertight (even including laying down in a mud puddle and sliding on your belly) and it can be mixed and matched at will.

So, really, if you dunk a surplus outfit into a coloring bath you can probably get /techwear/ on the ultra cheap.

I took a little inspo from this picture but I see what you mean, I put the collar back on the coat but it may hang better with it just let down, hopefully the CDG trousers I got will work a bit better.

i agree partly with other anon, i think the pants should be very loose and even run over your shoes; i like the fit other than that; gosha tee is a bit pretentious but having a smidgen of color among all black is good. coat straps hanging off the sides looks weird, like you're wearing a shower robe or something. shoes work well if pants are properly fitted. overall alright, but i wouldn't say it's ready for public use yet. maybe i just really like fits that feature long coats though

The trousers really ain't the problem, they look great honestly, just don't roll em. Plain black tee and some coat that has more defined silhouette and it would have been good.
In that fit it works because of the over all top heavy silhouette, he is shaped almost like upside down triangle and the pants rolled emphasize that as his ankles are even thinner than the pants and the shoes are very flat.
