middle tier:

fossil has always been a fashion watch brand; created in the 90s, savvy advertising and popular design got them a foothold. they compete on looks and selling a watch for $150 that citizen, for the sake of argument, sells with a real movement and quality materials/machining) for $600. they literally built the brand by polishing shit and convincing retards to buy it.

there are literally factories that design and produce watches for a dozen "fashion" brands. fossil is one of those producers.

pic related is option 4. Diameter: 33.5 mm (without the crown), Thickness: 5.3 mm (!!!), quartz (no one does quartz better than seiko). this is what i'd wear if i were in your position. or a classic tank.

if you go vintage, a lot of times you'll find the smaller watches are less expensive, because over the past 30 years nuance has become a rare quality.

junghans makes a 34mm max bill if the 38mm is too large. some are labeled as "ladies", but the classic colors are not.

I actually ended up buying the auto for ~350 euros. Coming in the mail tomorrow hope it was worth it.

From what I understand only the case in made in China but the majority of Victorinox stuff is done in Switzerland, but maybe I'm wrong.

pretty nice. that's a great watch. it's better than what most people post here by Casio. it seems what you have is the WV-59DE-1AVEF model.
it has a radio signal receiver so it's pretty much never off time-wise and changes summer and winter time by itself as well. it's cool. it could have more WR though. this one has 5 bar.
