What's the common consensus on sizing on these things? Do you buy TTS or not?

I've seen people say buy TTS and others say to size down. I've seen stores say to size down.

I've seen stores with different EU to US size conversions, it's confusing as fuck.

If I'm usually a size 9 or 8.5 in US what size EU am I supposed to get?

I'd have to go out of my way to try them on IRL and even then I'd have to do a 360 and walk away because they're 100 bucks cheaper on the internet.

the only reason you would not size down is if you have wide feet. CPs are on the narrow side.

Don't like the silhouette of them, half the time in fit pics they look like flattened cardboard, somehow in only a small percent of pics they look like they have a nice shape. Might be angle.
