Okay /fa/ how do I find a good hair stylist, what should I look for? Should I just keep trying new ones until I get one that understands my head?

I live in a metropolitan area in the US, countless options, but don't know where to start. What is a reasonable budget for a good cut?

I'm willing to spend between 20-50, can I get a good cut in that price range?
