Anyway, don't wash your hair with fucking honey. Lurk haircare threads and sample hair products at department store concessions if you can, start out with Crew or Ted Baker stuff to play it safe.

if you're asian you won't be able to get your hair down no matter what products you use. At a certain length it'll start staying down. And for the sides, since that's the most stubborn part to stay down i've seen dudes get them permed .

don't fall for buzzed haircuts as an asian as the growing out phase will be awkward. Keep the top long, only do the sides (around the ear) and maybe the lower part of the back of your head with clippers, everything else cut by hand. Don't shave off too much (above your ear i mean) off the sides. Applies to everyone else with thick hair like that too
