What's the point in having short-term celebs headlining a campaign? Is this Zeitgeist and I just have to deal with it?
What's next, a Kardashian modeling Dior?
I miss Raf.

fashion has reached a high in popular minds
like 10 years ago teens cared that much about fashion? not really.
they want to cater to the popular audience and they are doing so by using pseud celebrity.
I don't think it's a bad idea, and I'm looking forward to see the state of high fashion in 10/15 years. Big changes are coming

because designer brands know that idiots will buy anything their favorite celeb is wearing

there's countless of nouveaux riche who will aim towards givenchy or dior instead of bape and supreme, like the normal trend hopper teen. There's going to be more of them if a celeb they like is posing for a brand or another

How is this a bad choise? Rocky has been relevant for the last 5 years and has worn dior outfits many many times already. He also is quite good looking and has a big influence within pop culture, so its quite a understandable decision to choose him for a campaign. This has nothing to do with Raf leaving Dior btw, he was a creative director for womens rtw and couture, which is completely separated from dior homme.

rocky is not even talented
he's just a pseudo celeb that will fade away with the likes of the jenner family, and basically anyone famous that posed for that shitty kanye show (except thugger)

Hate to break it to you, but they have been famous for over a decade now with no end in sight.

no the end is coming. Just you wait
screenshot this if you must
but this will be the last year. 2017 will be their downfall

on a serious note i dont think asap rocky is going to be a short term celeb, hes flagshipped the collaborative between fashion and music culture. hes influence fashion enough to kill brands like hba and beentrill, the guy is gorgeous, in an almost conventional way, i dont like much of his music, but i do like some of it, its different to your typical yung thug / future trash

meh, can't even buy dior from any other sites besides luisaviaroma.

also asap rocky would seem like a more genuine choice than one of the kartrashians.
