What do you think about graphic designers doing clothing?

I've read some fashion designers hate us. BTW i don't do the mould, just the prints.
I've always been a geek, and i kinda wanted to be like this whote lot of geek shirt brands, with designs that work better on posters than clothing, but now i only think about how look it would look as a clothing piece.
