Pretty lucrative area for designers because right now the only fashionable options are Teva (to some extent), Birkenstock, Suicoke, and a few obscure pieces like the Visvim Christo. People (pic related) almost made a reasonably-priced Christo alternative that isn't Birkenstock/Teva but they fucked it up with the logo placement.

I think that since sandals become more and more acceptable in the fashion/streetwear world we'll start to see more options, but if you just want a choice for comfort and performance at the expense of style, just look at sportswear/outdoor brands.

Socks and sandals work good for a night environment around 50-60 degrees F.

Like I said this only works with pants, so this is definitely not an 80+ degree heat thing
I'm just saying you shouldn't have absolutes about fashion. Somethings work in certain situations.

I'm still considering them, I was trying to think of a way to get rid of it as well but I doubt sanding would look very good. Just irritating logo placement, why make it so offsetting, aside from trying to advertise?
