There are the usual in Union Square, Barney's, Saks, etc.

Some very cool places too, such as The Archive (bring your check book), it's kind of like a clothing museum.

There are some cool boutiques in Hayes Valley, like Acrimony, AETHER and Rand & Stattler.

Definitely check out Absinthe, if you like French cuisine, it's in that neighborhood and fantastic. There's a bar called The Smuggler's Cove there too, which is one of the top rated bars in the world, but is still a chill place and not overpriced.

There's amazing food everywhere, but some of the best The Front Porch (Southern/Cajun), The Comstock Saloon, The Wayfare Tavern, Brasserie Saint James (all upscale pub/brewery style places). Leopolds is a fantastic German restaurant. Little Chihuahua and San Francisco Taqueria are some of the best Mexican joints.

Oh and as far as sightseeing, there are a million places. I'm sure you'll go to GG Park - the Beach Chalet is a solid restaurant right across the street with stunning views of the ocean and there are the ruins of the Sutro Baths right up the street.

There are a lot of free music shows in Stern's Grove. The obvious ones like Fisherman's Wharf and the Golden Gate Bridge. Look up Land's End if you like hiking around.

Twin Peaks is easy to get to and has one of the best views of the city and the whole bay area.

If you like comedy, The Punchline is one of the best clubs in the country and Cobb's is good too.

It's a small city, only about 7 sq. miles, but there's a FUCKTON packed into it.

you've gotten what you can down. keep losing weight if you are, it feels amazing as a guy down from 185>138. don't spend too much money on clothes on the way there, make buying clothes your incentive for losing weight.

plus, look at it in a positive light, it gives you more time to plan out the kind of wardrobe you want before rather than blowing money on stuff you would regret.
