So instead of cosplay, I plan on doing outfits inspired by Jojo's Bizarre Adventure for Anime Expo. Its dumb, but more or less I'd rather buy actual clothing then shitty cosplay outfits. Do you think Jojo outfits can be done in more sensible ways, or is this a pipe dream?

This is not a style you can cheap out on. Fit has to be pretty much perfect, and you should probably gain some muscle mass first. Don't necessarily have to be huge as fuck, but you can't be fat or skinnyfat.

Araki takes most of his inspiration from Italian fashion, right? So maybe start there.

However keep in mind that a lot of it could be dated (just look at the styles in Part 4) and pretty much everyone would consider it gaudy and possibly costumey. Also you have to be real fit. Even the effeminate Jojo's have perfect bodies.
