It's amazing how none of you seem to know the difference between fashion and style.

When I look at half the ridiculous fits in this thread all I see is a set of clothes meant to tell me "I KNOW FASHION LOOK AT ME", whereas I have an Italian friend who dresses so immaculately that I never see anything other than the person, but I know just by looking at the sort of clothes, fits, patterns and colours he wears that he knows how to dress himself well.

It really is remarkable. Maybe it's just because both myself and my friend are around 26 years old, so because we've had the time to develop as actual human beings with personalities and tastes we don't feel the need to impress people or attract people based on what we wear.

Pic related, very much the sort of style of clothes he wears. I'd even go so far as to say that he doesn't really have a very characteristic style of his own, because I suspect most of it is from his Italian upbringing. And yet it still goes to show that even Anglo-American kids who steep themselves in fashion culture can still remain completely clueless when it comes to dressing themselves.

The distribution of this weight is quite hideous.

Anyway, fit > fa and both take time and effort (and getting your family to stop buying clothes for you, had to carefully talk my wife out of doing similar shit to).

Maybe reconsider your priorities, like paying a coach instead of buying clothes (IDK how gyms work in the US, I pay my coach what could buy me a pair of Nikes every couple of month, or three Banana Republic shirts or maybe a cheaper Filson bag, it's one supervised training a week) or having better food or buying a bicyle.
