So I recently purchased this windbreaker from adidas, and I was wondering what you guys thought about windbreakers in general. Do you think 80s/90s retro style windbreakers are starting to make a comeback? Personally I'm a big fan of them, but I wanted to hear you guys thought

Yeah I would agree, I just liked the style. The original windbreakers are just a little harder to come by, especially when you want a specific size and style. But still, at least this one is a windbreaker, same material, and it a has a packable hood, you just can't see it in this photo

Are there any windbreakers out there that have the same features as the Carhartt Nimbus Pullover Jacket? I'm just looking for a jacket of this type only cheaper.

Why not? Male clothes is much less varied and leaves little room for expression in both texture, colors and cuts, hell even types of clothing. Skirts and clothing in general, aren't inherently feminine or masculine. I personally think that these gender norms are unncessary. Why would I limit my own image?
