Long hair dude here. Very fine, straight, blonde. Sometimes think about cutting it b/c I hate taking care of it.

What do you guys use for shampoo/conditioner?

Everytime I try 2-in-1s or anything with silicones my hair is much easier to comb and awesome for a couple days but then it gets greasy. So I've just been using cheap suave shampoo and a separate cone free conditioner on the ends. A little harder to comb and kinda static-y but stays clean longer.

Wondering if you guys had any advice about brands to use. I like the cheapo suave enough but wouldn't mind spending a little extra on good shit. I notice a lot of girls have Aussie shampoo in their showers, is that stuff good?

so are there any benefits to using a shower cap? my sister suggested using one since i told her i cut down shampooing to just 1-2x a week. she said rinsing it without really washing is not good for hair and, among other things, will weight it down and look flat, which is a problem i've been having since cutting down the 'poo.
