question for anyone with dunks

i know the crepe outsole holds up very poorly, which can mostly be rectified with a vibram. but another issue i see in a lot of dunks is that the stapled back area of the midsole is in various stages of falling apart (pic related is a particularly bad specimen from grailed). i'm guessing that once it's gotten bad and started to chip away it's a lost cause, but if you find a pair in good condition where the ends haven't started to separate and the staples still have their structural integrity, is there anything that can be done to prevent this? maybe a layer of rubber over the back of the midsole to keep moisture out?

yeah sz will likely have better answers. there are a number of leathers they use. most of the shoes are calf, horse, bison, or kangaroo. if it's reverse it's often calf or less commonly horse. cordovan horse can be found on some models, though most are simply full grain unless otherwise mentioned. i'm not exactly sure this is the answer you're looking for, do you have any specific questions?

Starting messing around with my DSLR again. It's been well over a year since I took shots myself. The lens on this camera is garbage, but I'm excited to start sharing more detailed shots of some of my pieces.

Here's my Faun peacoat which I never took proper pics of. As you can see it needs a good ironing. The Fabric gets these creases in it easier than I would like. It's a 96% Wool / 4% elastane blend. Partially lined in cupro, great weight for spring.

The buttons are 100% Buffalo horn. Most of my other tailored pieces which aren't runway (designated as "RR" on the product code as opposed to "RU") use Corozo buttons. Corozo is nice since it's a "sustainable" vegan substance much which has the properties of ivory, but there's nothing that can replace the unique characteristics of true horn from something that lived and died.

I had to alter the highlights on this photo to show the grain properly - I've noticed from this that there is a subtle brown tone that is not initially present to the eye. They instead look grey and marble like in person.

The sash is made of a tissue thin double layered nylon. Upon first touch, it feels incredibly delicate and soft, much like cupro or even silk. I really enjoy detail shots of garments. Texture of the fabrics. The character of aging and handmade processes. Stuff that's really difficult to convey over the internet, until you see the garment. That's what got me into high end clothing was seeing the details. Subtlety.

No, I'm using MF, the lens is absolute garbage. I mean, the body isn't much better for that matter.
The depth of field is smaller than it should be on a few shots, but the Racc pic is fine and I'm not mad at the drawstring pic.

They fit much like any other Cropped pant, maybe a slightly larger leg opening and then of course the drop crotch. Not much specific inspired can be given, they could probably be worn in most fits any other larger silhouette Cropped pant could be worn in, there just needs to be a little added consideration in terms of portion img with the drop crotch

Mine are a different fabric than yours but the fit looks pretty similar. As far as I can tell the legs are straight leg with 0 taper, which can be kind of awkward sometimes.
